That's all of the VHS or other tapes you have of your acting experience.  If you want music included, burn copies of the CDs or burn the MP3s on a CD.

DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS AS WE DO GUARANTEE THEIR SAFE RETURN.

Make REALLY GOOD notes.

Your demo should be concise and impressive.  Make good notes about what you want so we can find your clips easily and create your demo accurately.

DO NOT USE VCR COUNTERS AS THESE VARY FROM UNIT TO UNIT.

Remember, your demo should not be very long:

• 3 Min. for Commercial Reels

• 5 Min. for Theatrical Reels

Your demo reels consists of title cards and scenes that you have appeared in.  Print this form and use as many pages as you need to describe the order of your title cards and scenes.

What do I need to provide to SMP to make my reel?

We'll need any footage you have provided to us on VHS, 8mm tape, Hi8 or MiniDV.  There's a form you can download on this page that will help you describe what you want to us.  Ship or drop off everything to SMP.

Do I need to come to your facility to get this done?

No, you can ship everything to Semper Mental Productions, 825 Bloomfield Avenue, Suite LL2, Verona, NJ 07044.  We can handle everything over the phone, provide an online proof for you to see like the clips above, then ship everything back to you!

Where are you located?

SMP is conveniently located just west of New York City in Verona, New Jersey. The DeCamp Route 66 can drop you right in front of our office if you need to get here for anything.

What is the duration of a demo reel?

We recommend three minutes for a commercial reel and five minutes for a theatrical reel.

What final masters are included with your Pro-Edit™ Services package?

Our Pro-Edit Services™ Package includes one Mini-DV Master and three digitally encoded VHS copies.

What is the turnaround time for making my demo reel?

Turnaround times are based on the amount of materials you supply and how quickly we can match the demo up to your notes.  Seasonal industry rushes may also effect turnaround times.

Is there a rush service?

Yes, we offer expedite services in case of an emergency at an additional fee.

Can I get my demo on a CD-R or DVD-R?

Yes, please call us to see what current specials we can offer you for these formats.

What is the format and presentation of my demo reel?

Our Pro-Edit Services™ Package has the perfect industry standard format.  It begins and ends with title card information with your name, contact information and agent if you have one.  The body of the demo is clips of your experience that may be preceded by additional title cards to clarify various works.  All title cards are white text on a black screen.
